Biography

Ephraim Allen Strang was born 21 Oct 1817 in Bedeque, Prince, Prince Edward Island to Jesse Strang and Sarah Wright[1][2][3][4][5][6].

On 5 DEC 1837, Ephraim married [[Murray-5534|Ann Murray[7][8][9][10][11][12][13]]. They obtained the marriage license three days earlier on 2 Dec 1837[14].

Just two years after his first marriage, he wed Mary Rix on Christmas Eve (24 Dec 1839) in Bedeque[15][16][17][18][19]. They had obtained their marriage license on 17 Dec 1839[20].

8 Aug 1865, finds Ephraim marrying his third wife, Judith Wood in Bedeque, Prince Edward Island[21][22][23][24][25][26].

He died before Oct 1885 in Cape Wolfe, Prince, Prince Edward Island[27][28][29][30][31][32][33][34].

Research Notes

Ephraim's birthdate has been given as 21 Oct 1815 and as 21 Oct 1816[35][36]. The date needs to be resolved.

Another source gives Ephraim's marriage to Mary Rix as being on 24 Dec 1840[37][38].
