Birth: October 11, 1791 in Kentucky, probably to Stephen Strange and Anna Crook - their eldest child.
Married Thomas Hardwick sometime before 1809.
1850 Census: On August 22, 1850, "Mary Hardwick," 60, was living in Clay Township, Hendricks County, Indiana with her daughter, Anna Hadley, 41, son-in-law, John T. Hadley, 44, granddaughters, Mary Ann Payne, 18, Sarah Jane Payne, 16, Julia Ann Hadley, 6, and step grandchildren, Jonathan, 18, Matthias, 13, Mary Ann, 12, Sarah Jane, 11, Elizabeth, 9, and Lucinda, 8. She is listed born in Kentucky.[1]
