Biography
Obituary CORINTH ‑ Bess Strickland Wallis, 88, died Wednesday, Sept 13, 2000, at the Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was born Aug. 3. 1912, in Corinth to G.W. and Cora Strickland. She was a retired florist and an active member of the Corinth First Baptist Church. She was the widow of the Rev. James Dewey Wallis Services will be at 2 p.m. today at McPeters Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dennis Smith officiating Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery in Booneville.
