Lydie Strong was born on 10 April 1904 in Douglas, Missouri, United States, daughter of Henderson Strong (1878–1953) and Linda Welch (1884–1937).[1]

Her siblings were:

Lydie married Art Campbell in Douglas County Missouri.

Lydie (19) married Charley Ward (29) (born on 17 May 1894 in Missouri; son of James Marion Ward and Elizabeth Jane (Fleetwood) Strong) on 10 September 1923. Their known children were:

  1. Lester Ward (about 8 May 1922 – 23 November 2003)
  2. Sybil Marie Ward (about 18 July 1929 – unknown)

In 1940, Lydie (36) was living in Douglas, Douglas, Missouri. [2]

Lydie died about 6 May 1972 in Missouri, aged about 68. She was buried in Loftin Cemetery, Douglas County, Missouri.[1]
