On March 22 1959 died peacefully at his residence 42 Smale Street Pt Chevalier dearly beloved husband of Winifred May and much loved father of Clari, Phyllis (Mrs Wengal Milford) Irene (Mrs Wood Birkenhead) George (Wellington) Gladys (Mrs Hanham) Pauline (Mrs Copeland Waimauku) Alfred (Rothesay Bay) Atholine (Mrs Robinson) Zeala (Mrs Cleaver Matamata) Verdum, Clifford (Hamilton) Enid (Mrs McGee) and Colin aged 80 years. A service will be held at the Ponsonby Road Church of Christ at 3.pm tomorrow (Tuesday). Funeral then leaving for Purewa Lawn Cemetery.
