Joel Strong (twin), son of Eleazer Strong b. May 1, 1733 in Hebron, Connecticut, [1]m. Eunice Bascom b. Jan. 12, 1732 (dau. of Daniel Bascom of Lebanon, and Mary Bliss dau. of Rev. John Bliss of Hebron) a farmer in Hebron, Ct., and afterwards in Granville, Mass., of which he was one of the first settlers. He was much injured by the fall of a tree, and disabled,at the ago of 70, by paralysis. He d. Nov. 25, 1808, aged 75. She d. aged 83, April 13, 1815. [2]

Joel died Nov 25 1808 in Granville, Massachusetts. He is buried in Main Road Cemetery, Granville, Hampden County, Massachusetts [3]

Joel had a twin brother, Amos. Joel resided in Hebron, Connecticut and Granville, Massachusetts where he was an original settler. He was injured by the fall of a tree and paralyzed at the age of 70.
