Joseph served during the American Revolution as a Chaplain with the 20th Continental Infantry.[4]
Rev. Joseph Strong died in Williamsburg, Massachusetts, on January 1, 1803, at the age of 73. He was buried at Old Village Hill Cemetery in Williamsburg.
