Josiah Strong was born January 11, 1677/78 in Windsor, Connecticut. He married Joanna Gillett on January 5, 1697/98. Their children were: Hannah, John, Damaris, Elizabeth, Mary, Josiah, Eunice, Caleb, Rachel, Dorothy, Joshua, Irene and Asahel.

  • Damaris Strong b. May 8, 1703, married Samuel Calkins in Hebron

He was born,11 Jan 1678, when his mother, Elizabeth (Warriner) Strong, was 52 yo which is not impossible but seems questionable. And even more so if we give crediblity to "Josiah Strong [1][2] about 1794, judgin from birth reords of children. " from the comments under Name.

Strong-2901 and Strong-684 appear to represent the same person because: My records indicate that the Josiah Strong and Josiah Strong Sr are the same person. I would like to edit merge the profile or just accept the profile of Strong-684 and discard the profile of Stong-2901.
