Sarah E. Strong was born on 8 Jun 1837. An unsourced tree in ancestry.com claims she was born in Hollis, York County, Maine.

Sarah married Charles M. Dyer on 4 Jun 1867 in Portland, Cumberland, Maine,^[1] and had the following children:

1. Emma J. Dyer, b. 1871
2. Edward J. Dyer, b. 1873
3. Louisa Frances (Dyer) Childs, b. 1875

She died in Falmouth, Maine on 18 Jul1878 of neuralgia, based on the death record card that was attached to the digital record which states she died in Portland.^[2] Portland was formed from parts of Falmouth. The card also indicates that she was buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Deering? Deering was incorporated in 1871 and annexed by Portland in 1899.
