Biography

1776 Project
Private Daniel Strong served with 13th Regiment, Connecticut Militia during the American Revolution.

Daniel Strong is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A111507.

Daniel was born in 1719. He is the son of Stephen Strong and Abigail Buell.

He was a farmer in Lebanon, Connecticut until the American Revolutionary War, when he sold all of his property and supplies and bought army supplies on credit, taking his pay in continental currency, which caused him to go bankrupt. He passed away in November of 1806.

He married Esther Chappell May 22, 1751. They had ten children.
