Strong-750 and Strong-729 do not represent the same person because: Strong-729 is the dau of Esther Clapp, the first wife of Samuel Strong and Strong-750 is the dau of Ruth Sheldon, Samuel Strong's second wife. Two different people with same father but different mothers.

Strong-1986 and Strong-729 appear to represent the same person because: Same parents, same husband. Approx same birth.

Replaced mother (Ruth Sheldon) with Samuel's first wife, Esther Clapp. Samuel didn't marry Ruth Sheldon until 1698, so Ruth was Mary's stepmother.
