Lady Anne Stuart was baptised on 23 November 1614 at St. Anne's Church, Blackfriars, London, England.1 She was the daughter of Esmé Stuart, 3rd Duke of Lennox and Katherine Clifton, Baroness Clifton (of Leighton Bromswold). She married Archibald Douglas, Earl of Angus, son of William Douglas, 1st Marquess of Douglas and Hon. Margaret Hamilton, between November 1629 and May 1630.1 She was also reported to have been married on 16 August 1630. She died on 16 August 1646 at age 31. She was buried at Douglas, Scotland.
