Biography
Harman Mueller was born on February 8, 1876, in Baden, German. He came to America in 1890 at the age of 14. Ethel Stump was born on May 17, 1889. Harman and Ethel were married, and at that time their names were Americanized. Herman Miller and Ethel (Stump Miller had 9 Children, 8 girls, and 1 boy.
Alwilda Katherine Miller was born on December 3, 1906. She was born at half past six on Monday evening. She weighed 8lbs.
Leona May Miller was born on August 29, 1908. She was born at 8:00 Saterday night and weight 8 lbs.
Hazel Ettabell Miller was born on November 22, 1912. She was born at 2:00 on Friday afternoon and weighed 11.75 lbs.
Mary Christina Miller was born July 31, 1915. She was born at 12:50 on Saturday afternoon and weighed 9 lbs.

At the time of this printing, there is one member of the original family still with us. Deloris (Miller) Leistner, "Red" as she has been known most of her days, relates that she was born in Osgood, Ohio. The family lived in a three-room shack in Osgood until Deloris was five. Herman Miller was killed by a falling tree when she was five years old. A year later, Ethel Miller married Clarence Bolivar Pierce and moved the family to West Milton. In 1935, the family moved to Bradford, Ohio. The family resided in a house that was located directly across the street from Kenneth and Deloris' present home.
