Nita was born about 1893 in Chile to Walter Styer and Ann Cockburn. Her burial record says she was born in England.
She married ? Pennington and divorced. On 7 November 1938 Richard Franks Mathews and Nita Dolores Pennington, both of Metchosin, were married in the Sheriff's Office in Victoria by civil contract[1][2].
Juanita died 31 May 1962 in Victoria on May 31, 1962[3], and was buried in St. Mary's Cemetery, Metchosin with her husband Richard. [4].
