Biography

Clarissa was born about 1820 in Mississippi.[1][2] She was married about 1844 probably in Mississippi[1] to Edward J. Tew. The couple had the following known children:

  1. Rachel Tew was born about 1846 in Mississippi.[1][2]
  2. Daniel Tew was born about 1848 in Mississippi.[1][2]
  3. Sarah Tew was born about 1849 in Mississippi.[1][2][3]
  4. Elias J. Tew was born about 1853 in Mississippi.[2]
  5. Iverson Tew was born about 1855 in Mississippi.[2][3]
  6. Nancy J Tew was born about 1857 in Mississippi.[2][3]

Clarissa died sometime after 1870, possibly in Smith County.[3]
