Biography

When Louisa Jane "Aunt Puss" Sullivan was born on November 15, 1853, in Smith County, Mississippi, her father, Henderson, was 28, and her mother, Leah, was 26. She had one daughter with Jeptha Newton Cole in 1871. She and Jeptha were never married. She had other partners but remained "Single" as is stated on her Death Certificate.

She died on January 15, 1934, at the age of 80, and is buried in Ed Sullivan Cemetery, Smith County, Mississippi.
