Frederick was born in Mississippi 20 Feb 1821.[1] He was married by 1838 to Joannah Louisa Spell[1] and the couple had the following known children:

Leah M. Sullivan was born in Mississippi about 1855.[2][3]
Miranda C. Sullivan was born in Mississippi about 1857.[2][3]
George W. Sullivan was born in Mississippi about 1858.[2]
Ellen K. Sullivan was born in Mississippi about 1860.[3]
Frederick Taylor Sullivan was born in Mississippi 19 Feb 1866 and died 14 Oct 1925 in Mize, Mississippi.[3][4]
In March of 1857 Frederick served as a Grand Juror for the Circuit Court of Smith County, Mississippi.[5]
Frederick appears on the 1866 Land Tax List for Smith County, Mississippi as owning the E1/2 of the SE1/4, the SW1/4 of the SE1/4 and the SE1/4 of the NE1/4 of Section 2 in Township 1 Range 7.[6]
He appears on the 1872 Smith County, Mississippi Land Tax List as follows:
Sullivan, F - 120 acres described as the W 1/2 of the NE 1/4, the E 1/2 of the NW 1/4 and the NW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 19, Township 10, Range 15 West.[7]
Frederick was a member of Lodge 311, Bunker Hill, Red Hill in Smith County, Mississippi, and he died 15 April 1897.[8] He is buried in Alex Sullivan Cemetery, Smith County, Mississippi.[9]
