In 1850, they lived in Montgomery County, Georgia with their children Sally, Polly, Washington, Martin, Nancy, and two six-year-old boys, Brantley and John Thompson[4]. (Nancy's married name was Thompson, but she's only eleven years old in this census. Who do these boys belong to? DKM. Still in Montgomery County in 1860, Edmund Moseley lived with them[5]. (Unsure if he is a son or other relative. He was not present on the previous census and should have been if he was their son.)
