Biography

When Benjamin S Sullivan was born in 1822 in Stafford, Virginia, his father, James, was 28 and his mother, Sarah, was 32. He married Lucinda Jones (Tinny) Shelton in 1857 in Virginia. They had five children during their marriage. He died on March 6, 1862, in Stafford, Virginia, at the age of 40, and was buried in White Oak, Virginia.
