"Mrs. Polly Moore died today at 12:15 p.m. at the advanced age of 83 years. She is survived by two sons, Felix and John Long of Oklahoma; and two daughters, Mrs. Mollie Klingman of Oklahoma and Mrs. Ida Osborn of this city.
Mrs. Moore was a good woman, a consecrated Christian, an affectionate mother, and a most trusted friend. Her death has cast a shadow of sorrow over all who knew her. The funeral arrangements have not been completed but will probably be held sometime Wednesday." Moberly Daily Monitor, February 25, 1907
