Research notes

While highly improbable, it is not impossible for a 65 year old to conceive and deliver.

This relationship is based on the 1900 census and marriage record.

Aubrey and Mary L. then move to Oklahoma, probably with Ben and Sarah.

Sutherland-2221 and Sutherland-2209 do not represent the same person because: There was evidently another daughter named Mary L. born when Nancy died.

Sutherland-2221 and Sutherland-2209 appear to represent the same person because: According to the 1850 census, there wasn't a daughter born in 1845, named Mary, granted a child could have died, but the line up of children in the father's profile says they had 7 children.
