MISSING WOMAN'S BAG
The police are sceptical of the suicide theory to account for the finding of a peggy bag belonging to Mrs. Emily Maude Dowling, Glenmore Road. Paddington. on the cliffs near The Gap at Watson's Bay last week, and it's subsequent disappearance from the spot where it was left by the finder. Mrs. Dowling has not been seen since she left her home last Wednesday. Careful search has been made by the police, although they say a body would be washed out to sea from The Gap. The bag was found near the edge of the cliffs, opposite the Watson's Bay Fire Station, and left near the side of the road leading to Nielsen Park, after the finder became tired of carrying it,[1]
