Obituary MARTINSVILLE Nelson Eugene Sutton

Nelson Eugene Sutton, 84, died Friday, Nov. 7, 2003, at Todd-Aikens Health Center in Franklin. He was a resident of Martinsville.

He was born July 18, 1919, in Greenwood. His parents were William and Faye (Paris) Sutton. He married Anna Elizabeth (Ezell) Sutton on Jan. 18, 1946. She survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Sandy Sutton of Martinsville and Carol Fleenor of Chipley, Fla.; two brothers, Oren Sutton of Greenwood and Charles Sutton of Arizona; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Sutton.

He served with the U.S. Army during World War II.

He was a farmer and construction worker in Johnson County for many years.

He was a member of Mount Pleasant Christian Church and Greenwood Masonic Lodge 514.

The Revs. Craig Tucker and Wayne Grace will conduct a service at 3 p.m. Monday at Forest Lawn Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135 in Greenwood. Friends may call from 2 p.m. until the time of the service Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in White River Township.

Memorial contributions may be made to Mount Pleasant Christian Church, 381 N. Bluff Road, Greenwood, IN 46142.
