Data from Bo Johansson: There is a parish in Kristianstad county named Loshult, and there is a place (village, hamlet, group of farms) in Loshult named Rågeboda, which I would guess is what you mean for Bengt Svenson Landin's birthplace.

But I don't see your Bengt in the 1839 births in GID 1454.26.82800, [Kristianstad] Loshult, Births,Marriages,Deaths, 1839-1863, Image 51.

Or was it his father who was born in Loshult, and Bengt perhaps in Örkened parish? "Yes it was his father in Loshult"

There is a Bengt born 10 Oct 1839, parents Sven Johnsson and Svenborg Bengtsdotter of Kongsgård, in GID 1481.31.72100, [Kristianstad] Örkened, Births, 1832-1862, Image 59.

They are found at Kungsgården in GID 1481.21.49100, [Kristianstad] Örkened, Household examination, 1837-1841, page 242, Image 267.

- "torpare" [changed to "Ihs" = lodger] Sven Johnsson, born 1899-10-26 Loshult. - wife Svenborg Bengtsdotter, born 1800-09-16 Örkened. - 7 children born 1825-1839. CORRECTION: Sven Johnsson was born 1799, not 1899. They are still at Kungsgården in GID 1481.26.66900, [Kristianstad] Örkened, Household examination, 1847-1853, page 244, Image 265.

The father, Sven Johnsson dies 1852-03-02, no sign of the Landin name yet.

In the next HFL Bengt Svensson moves 1855 to Glimåkra, so he must have taken the name Landin later than this. GID 1481.4.68800, [Kristianstad] Örkened, Household examination, 1853-1858, page 256, Image 263.

The widow Svenborg Bengtsdotter lives alone in GID 1481.1.5200, [Kristianstad] Örkened, Household examination, 1858-1864, page 253, Image 52.

And she dies 1866-01-30 in GID 1481.6.58700, [Kristianstad] Örkened, AI.21, Household examination, 1864-1877, page 328, Image 320.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Bengt by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Bengt:
