This is a legendary or fictional person (loosely based on old Norse sagas). The profile is being retained on WikiTree because the profile appears in many popular genealogies.
According to Orkneyja Saga, Heitir son of Gór was the father of Sveiða sea king, who in turn was the father of Hálfdan the old, father of Ivar Opplendingejarl, father of Eystein Glumra, father of Rögnvald jarl.[1]
This profile adds a generation that the Orkneya saga does not mention. Most likely, it is due to that Svidra (his dad) is just a mistranslation and therefore this profile, Sveidi, and that of his dad, Svidra, are really duplicate profiles of the same person. However, since Sveidi Svidrasson is a popular figure in online trees without sources, we better keep this profile as is on WikiTree (we do not want anyone recreating the profile).
Due to this fact, both birth and death year should be considered fictual, and not even an estimated guess.
This profile is frequently found in online trees that start with Gotte Heytsson/Gotte De Finlande as the son of Heite Gorsson (0480-0499) and the father of legendary figure Holger Danske (who is usually named son of king Gudfred), who in turn is made the father of Svidri Heytsson. (Note the mismatched patronymics!)
Svidri's supposed son is Sveide Svidrasson sea king (not from Orkneyja Saga), with descendants Hingmar (Ivar) de Hauteville, Arailt (Harold) de Hauteville, Olaf de Hauteville, Magnus de Hauteville, Ivar de Hauteville, Hialti de Hauteville (852-), Guiscard de Hauteville (880-971), Tancred de Hauteville (900-980), Gerard Tancred de Hauteville (930-1001), Rabel Tancred II de Hauteville (950-1021) and then known historical figure Tancred (Hauteville) de Hauteville (abt.0980-abt.1041)
The Hauteville Wikipedia page states that the family legend has them has descended from a Norseman named Hiallt, and that Tancred born in 980 supposedly was his descendant. These family trees are likely attempts to match that legend and fit it to the older Sea King stories.[2]
