Mary was the daughter of Elijah Swain and Susanna Cathcart. Mary had four sisters, Eunice, Susanna, Phebe, and Christian, and four brothers, Elijah, John, Robert, and Owen. She married Simeon Bunker 27 Jan 1766 in Nantucket. ^[2]
