Biography

George Wesley Swain was born January 15 1866, in Noble, Ohio, to parents Oatha Swain and Emiline Artis . See 1870 Census ^[1]

A farmer, he married Emma May Williams of Gallia Count;y in September 3, 1891. They had 10 children. Their family can be found on the 1900 ^[2] and 1910 Census ^[3] . In 1900, Emma's mother, a widow, Eliza Thompson was living with them.

George died March 13, 1919, and was buried March 15 in Good Hope Cemetery in Gallia. ^[4] His death record ^[5] states he was widowed, however Emma died in 1951 .
