Biography
Silvanus Swain was born on April 2, 1731, in Nantucket, Nantucket, Massachusetts[1]. He was the son of Caleb and Margaret (Paddack) Swain. Silvanus married Hannah Worth on December 6, 1753, in Nantucket[2]. They had 5 children: Silvanus, Abiah, Miriam, Hannah, and Judith. Silvanus passed away on June 7, 1763, in Nantucket[3].
