She arrived with her mother (Esther), brother (Arthur), and sister (Barbara). Bertha's date of birth "27 Aug 1872". She thought her mother was "2" years "Younger" than Arthur. She thought her grandmother's maiden name was "Swain or Swaine". She thought her grandfather had died in England. Her grandmother Esther remarried a Lewis Hardcastle. She died abt "1919" in "Philadelphia PA".
