Biography

Notice: I removed Pieter Swart (bef. 1689 - abt. 1756) as father and Sara (du Buis) Swart (bef. 1701 - abt. 1766) as mother of Daniel Swart (abt. 1839 - abt. 1908) for they cannot realistically not have been the parents of this child, seeing the date of birth of Daniel is at least 64 years after the death of his mother and 74 years after the death of his father. DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Pieter by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Pieter:

is.

According to the muster rolls his wife was already recorded as widow from May 1744. The baptism on 22 Aug 1756 was actually witnessed by Jan Swart and Sara Buijs. Source: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:S3HY-DZN4-7BJ?i=280&cc=1478678&cat=993508
