Married Jane MacMillan of Isaccs Harbor. Both are buried in an Isaac's Harbor Cemetery. He was "an outstanding business man" He was the general dealer of Isaac's harbour and country harbour. It was said (unknown by whom) that he had a general store on The Common in Stormont Country Harbor and a store in Isaac's Harbor
