Biography

Sarah E Sweeting was born about 1841 in Harbour Island, Bahamas to John W Sweeting and Emma Clementine Albury Sweeting.

She married William Henry "Billy Beau" Cleare, son of John Henry Cleare and Elizabeth "Betsy" Saunders Cleare, 25 January 1862, in Harbour Island. Billie Beau and Sarah Cleare had children - among them Louise Wilson Cleare, Alice Hortencia Cleare, Beatrice Cleare, Lucien Wilson Cleare, and George Cleare (who died at 11 days).

Sarah Sweeting Cleare died 18 November 1879 from the complications of childbirth - in Harbour Island, Bahamas.
