Alice was the daughter of Thomas de Swynnerton and Maud de Holland. She married John de Gresley about 1341. They were the parents of:

Disputed Parents

It has wrongly been assumed that Alice Swynnerton was the daughter of Thomas Swynnerton and Maud Holland. However, Gresley family records show that her father was actually "Roger Swinnerton, knight, lord of Swinnerton."^[2]
