Biography

Roger de Swynnerton, Lord of Swynnerton and Isewall was born about 1262 to Stephen Isewall and Joan Ware. He inherrited the Lordship of Swynnerton from his uncle John in 1284. He married Joan Hastang, and had two sons Sir Roger de Swynnerton d. 1338 and John de Isewall, who was killed by Adam de Peshale in 1337.[1]

John de Isewall was most likely the nephew of Roger. John the son of Roger died in 1340. Parshall is muddled as to the family relationships of this time.
