Marriage
Frances TACKETT was married on 30 July 1818 in Floyd County, Kentucky.[1] The name of his bride was not mentioned on the marriage record.
Frances TACKETT would have been about 34 years old at the time of the 1818 marriage, it is probable that he was married previously
Notes: The census Records of 1820 and 1830 - see transcriptions - The 1830 census household of Francis TACKETT had a female child born between 1810 and 1815. This female child was probably the female in 1820 that was under 10 years of age. Since Francis did not marry until 1818, it is probable that he was previously married if he was the father of the child in 1830. This child was probably Rebecca TACKETT. All searching in Floyd County, Kentucky for a marriage previous to the 1818 one has proven to be inconclusive because no record appears to have been recorded.
