Biography
As Mollie J. Powell, she signed the delayed birth record for her son Vern on 3 June 1943. At that time she said she was 67 years old.
The 1895 Iowa State census says she was born in Taylor, Iowa. There is a Tackett family listed earlier on the census page where she is listed, age 20 with two children.
