Emeline Adelia Tainter was born on September 11, 1827 to Ezekiel Tainter and Ruth (Burnham) Tainter. [1]
Married Alonzo Pelton on November 29, 1845 at Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin.
Mother of Dwight Champion Pelton, Leonora Martha Pelton, Jessie Eliza (Pelton) Harshberger, Martha Ruth (Pelton) Hatfield, Charles Hobart Pelton, Hattie Josephine (Pelton) Whiteley, twins Frederick Pelton and Infant Pelton.[2]
Emeline died on Oct. 9, 1904 in Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois and was buried at Oak Woods Cemetery in Chicago.
