Biography
Joseph was born in 1834. He was the son of William Tait and Mary Johnston.
In 1850, the family was in Franklinville, Cattaraugus, New York. The went to Pennsylvania about 1852 then returned to Cattaraugus, New York about 1856. By 1870, they were in Monck, Muskoka, Ontario.
He passed away in 1896.
