Biography

Note, this profile is for a different person than his cousin Enos Talmadge of Easthampton, (son of Davis; born 1660; died 1753) and nephew Enos Talmadge who was lost at sea (son of Thomas; born 1679; died 1712).

Lt. Enos Talmadge, son of Robert. He married Hannah Yale. He was killed on 9 Feb 1690 at the burning of Schenectady, defending the town. 5 years after Enos died, Hannah married Samuel Bishop.[1]

Talmadge-40 and Talmadge-2 appear to represent the same person because: Both these profiles are listed as the husband of the same Hannah

Maybe this is a combo of several Talmages?

1. Enos Talmadge of Easthampton, (son of Davis; born 1660 at Easthampton; died there 1753).

2. Enos #1's cousin, Lt. Enos Talmadge (son of Rob't, born 4 Oct 1656 at New Haven, married Hannah Yale; killed 9 Feb 1690 at the burning of Schenectady, defending the town. Children: Mary, Sarah, Mehitabel, Thomas.

3. Enos #2's brother, Thomas married Elizabeth Alsop; died abt 1730. They had a son Enos who was born 1679 and lost at sea 1712.
