Albert M Tanner was born 27 Feb 1919. Mother is listed as Mary Mudd. Volume 11, Certificate 5017. [1]

1920 – Kentucky, Ballard County, Barlow, District 10, 23 Jan 1910
Sheet shows Virgle M. Tanner (28), wife Mary E. (27) and children William H. (6), Gila M. (4) and Albert M. (10 mos.). living on the farm they rent. The farm is on the Barlow and Mound City road. All report they and their parents were born in Kentucky. Virgle is a farmer. [2]

1929 – Kentucky, Ballard County, Barlow, 23 Jun 1929
On her Kentucky death record, Mary E. Tanner shows a date of birth as 10 Mary 1892 in Kentucky. Her father is listed as H.B. Mudd of Nelson County and her mother as Fannie McIntyre of Larue County, Kentucky. The informant was Henry Mudd. Cause of death was strangulation by hanging from a rope about her neck. The death record goes on to state “We further fiind that at the time of her death she was mortally unbalanced”.

1930 – Kentucky, Ballard County, Barlow, District 10, 4 Apr 1930
Sheet 3A shows Virgil M. Tanner (38), a widow, living with his children William (16), Gila M. (14) and Albert M. (11). The farm they live on is owned. He reports he was 19 when he married. He reports he was born in Kentucky, his father in Illinois and his mother in Kentucky. The children were all born in Kentucky. He reports to be a laborer for a railroad station. [3]

1940 – Kentucky, Ballard County, Barlow, District 4-8, 22 Apr 1940
Sheet 7B shows Virgil Tanner (48), widowed, living with his sons Willilam (27) and Albert M. (20) and his daughter Gila Hampton (24) her daughter Norma A. (2). All report they were born in Kentucky and they were living in the same place in 1935. Virgil reports having a 5th grade education, William a 6th grade education, Albert a 7th grade education and Gila an 8th grade education. The home is rented for $6. Virgil reports to be a farm laborer and earned $300 the previous year, William is a tractor driver on a farm and earned $215 the previous year and Albert is a farm laborere who earned $110 the previous year. 1940 - Kentucky, Ballard County, Barlow
Albert Miller Tanner, born 27 Feb 1919, is 21 when he completed his WWII Draft Registration Card. He is employed by the WS Ave in Barlow. He lists his father, Virgil Miller Tanner, as the one who will always know his address. He is reported to be 5'10" tall, weighs 168 pounds, has gray eyes, brown hair and light complexion. He also has a tattoo on each forearm. [5]

1941 – Kentucky, Hardin County, Fort Knox
On his WWII enlistment record, Albert M. Tanner reports he was born in 1919 in Ballard County, Kentucky. He enlisted on 21 Mar 1941 in Fort Knox as a private. He reports to have 3 years of high school and some knowledge of millwrights. He is single with no dependents and is listed as 5’9” and 154 pounds. [6]

1950 - Kentucky, Clay County Other Places, District 26-3, 18 Apr 1950
Sheet 22 of the census shows Albert Tanner (30), wife Lizzie (26) and children Albert G (7) and William (3) living in the home. All report they were born in Kentucky. The home is located on highway 29. Albert is an inspector and worked 40 hours the week before the census. [7]

1974 - Ohio, Hamilton County, Cincinnati
Albert M Tanner died 18 Sep 1974 at the age of 55. [Ohio Deaths, 1908-1932, 1938-1944, and 1958-2002]
