William Newman Tanner was born 8 Jan 1859/1860 in Utah, United States. His parents were Sidney Tanner and Rachel Newman.[1](Note that his death certificate and gravestone indicate he was born 1859.[1] A Tanner family history lists 8 Jan 1860 in Beaver City, Utah but does not identify source for this.[2])
In the 1870 US census, William Tanner (10) was living in Beaver, Utah Territory, with parents Sydney Tanner (60) and Rachel Tanner (37), and siblings Thaddeus (18), Frankllin (15), John (13), Howard (7) and Rachel (3).[3]
William N Charley Tanner died on 20 Jan 1918 in Marysvale, Piute County, Utah. He was buried at Mountain View Cemetery, Marysvale, Piute County, Utah, United States.[1]
