Biography

Sarah Lillian Tarver married Joe Nick Cherry on 24 February 1892, and divorced in the 1910s. She was buried in Rosemere Cemetery at Opelika. In 1940 Sarah lived with her sister Elise (age 81) at Opelika, but in 1935 she lived at West Palm Beach, FL (her sister lived at Ozark, AL in 1935). Joe Nick and Lillian and their first two children lived at Plant City, Hillsborough Co FL in 1900. Lillian and three sons were living at Opelika in 1920, a few doors from Joe Nick's aunt Susan Victoria Parsons (who was also his step-mother). Joe and Lillian had ten children, five by 1900 with two still alive, and with five still alive in 1910; two were buried without names or dates in Rosemere Cemetery
