Celine C. Tait was a native of Lynchburg, Virginia.
She was married 25th April 1831 in Lynchburg City to Linnaeus Dupuy.
Celine C. Dupuy was named as the wife of Linnaeus in the will of her cousin, William B. Lynch, dated 14th June 1845 in Lynchburg. She was therein bequeathed the home and lots in Lynchburg where his father, William B. Lynch, had lived and died in 1826.
She was widowed in 1849 and passed away in 1851.

Tait are now of age, Patrick & Charles died intestate without issue)...the Court doth Order that the case be referred back to one of the Commissioners of the Court who is directed to take a further account of the administration of Caleb Tait, the Elder, dec'd since the last settlement...
