In 1752, the Danbury probate court appointed Rachel and Joseph Taylor as joint guardians to Elijah Starr, youngest son to Lieut. Jonathan Starr, decd. John Starr and Joseph Taylor were jointly appointed as guardians to her sons Jonathan, Mikajah, and Benjamin, and her daughter, Rebecka.[1]
