Duncan Taylor was First Mate of the barque cargo ship Roseneath. The ship was wrecked on the rocks out side Port Patrick harbour Scotland. Duncan Taylor, his wife and young son and three others were drowned. Only the bodies of Duncan and his son were found, his wife's body was never found.[1]
