He was baptized at Takeley on May 2nd 1673. In 1707 he surrendered “Great Cobbs” to his brother Samuel. He was living in 1748 and is mentioned in Samuel’s will. He was admitted to land in Monkbury, Little Hallingbury in 1750, which he surrendered in 1756. He married Elizabeth Bassey (from AGT) at Takeley on November 12th 1702. The Takeley records in the internet give her name as Bayley. They had probably three children.
