She married James Small on December 31, 1873 at 1 Johns Place Leith,[4]
In the 1881 census Agnes (age 34) was the wife of James Small at 52, Annfield Road, Liff & Benvie, St Peter, Forfarshire (Angus), Scotland.[5]
In the 1891 census Agnes (age 37), Millworker cutter, was the married head of household in High Street, Liff, Lochee, Forfarshire (Angus), Scotland.[6]
