Biography

Agnes Taylor was born on 1 June and baptsied 11 June 1852 at South Leith, Midlothian, Scotland. Her parents were John Taylor and Euphemia Young. [1]

In the 1861 census Agnes (age 8), Scholar, was the daughter of John Taylor at 14 Bath Place, South Leith, Midlothian.[2]

In the 1871 census Agnes (age 18), Mill worker, was the lodger of William Law in 4 Lauries Close, South Leith, Midlothian, Scotland.[3]

She married James Small on December 31, 1873 at 1 Johns Place Leith,[4]

In the 1881 census Agnes (age 34) was the wife of James Small at 52, Annfield Road, Liff & Benvie, St Peter, Forfarshire (Angus), Scotland.[5]

In the 1891 census Agnes (age 37), Millworker cutter, was the married head of household in High Street, Liff, Lochee, Forfarshire (Angus), Scotland.[6]

In the 1901 census Agnes (age 48) was the married head of household at 10, Marybank Lane, Dundee, Liff, Lochee, Forfarshire (Angus), Scotland.[7]

Agnes died on 9 January 1903 in Dundee, Angus, Scotland.[8]
