Winifred 'Winnifrit' Taylor was named in the settlement of her father's estate on 8 May 1703 at Accomack Co, VA. Rec'd of Mr. Elias Taylor, Admr of Mr. William Taylor dec'd, several goods & merchandizes as per account exhibited will more at large appear also one Negro girl called Hannah the full value being the full sixth part of the said Wm. Taylor dec'd estate, also 13 head of cattle, 1 sorrel horse, 1 grey mare, 4 sheep, 3 ewes, 1 lamb, their quality and age being here underneath mentioned, which several above mentioned, I do by these presents acknowledge to have rec'd as my full right and share of my dec'd fathers estate utterly & for ever hereafter quitting and absolutely discharging my uncle Mr. Elias Taylor Admr of the estate of my dec'd father his heirs, Extrs &c from all manner of claims or intentions whatsoever that may or shall arrive from any manner of person or persons whatsoever from, by or under me that shall or may accrue hereafter. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand the day and year above mentioned. Signed: Winnifrit Scarburgh. Witt: Robt. Pitt, George Hope & Wm. Taylor. The within receipt of Winnifritt Scarburgh to Mr. Elias Taylor was recorded by the request of the said Elias Taylor 11 May 1715.

She sold land on 2 October 1721 at tract Bennetts Adventure, Somerset Co (now Wicomico Co), MD. Bennett Scarburgh sold this tract of 2,500 acres to George Dashiell. The deed was signed by Bennett Scarburgh son of Charles Scarburgh, Henry Scarburgh and Winifred Scarburgh, Mary Leatherbury daughter of Charles, William Black and wife Sarah Black daughter of Charles, Scarburgh Drummond widow of Richard Drummond heir of dec'd daughter of Charles, and George Parker son and heir of Ann Scarburgh daughter of Charles Scarburgh.

Winifred was living on 28 October 1740 at Accomack Co, VA. It was on this date that she was named to settle the estate of James Powell, with Henry Scarburgh Gent: as the security.
