James was born on 23 October 1856 in Randolph, Georgia, United States. He was the son of William Taylor and Matilda (Bass) Taylor.[1][2][3] In 1910 James (age about 53) was employed as a farmer and merchant, living in Militia District 947, Randolph, Georgia, United States.[3] In 1920 James (age about 63) was living in Militia District 947, Randolph, Georgia, United States.[4] In 1930 James (age about 73) was employed as a Farmer.[5] He was aged about 73 and living in Gaffs Mill, Randolph, Georgia, United States.[5]
James died at the age of 78 on 27 December 1934 in Randolph, Georgia, United States. He was buried after 27 December 1934 in New Bethel Cemetery, Randolph County, Georgia.
