George was the son of Philander Taylor and Eveline Burnett. He lived with his parents in Campton, Kane, Illinois[1] The family moved to Genoa, DeKalb, Illinois. [2] He married Sarah Rachel Knapp. [3]They had 10 children with 7 living in 1900. Their children were:
The family lived in Paradise, Grand Traverse, Michigan.[4] George died in 1906. [5][6] He is buried in Blackmon Cemetery, Summit City, Grand Traverse, Michigan. [7]
